HSA-Eligible Expenses
- Artificial limb or prosthesis
- Braille books/magazines (partial)
- Car adaptations (person w/ disability)
- Christian science practitioners
- Eyeglasses (including eye examinations)
- Eye surgery (including laser eye surgery)
- Fertility enhancement (including in-vitro fertilization)
- Guide dog (for visually-impaired or hearing-impaired)

- Over the counter medications (only if you have a doctor’s prescription)
- Prescription medicines or drugs

Non-Eligible Expenses
- Babysitting, childcare, and nursing services for a normal, healthy baby
- Controlled substances obtained in violation of federal law
- Electrolysis or hair removal
- Illegal operations and treatments
- Over the counter medications (without a doctor’s prescription)
- Weight loss programs for improvement of appearance, general health, or sense of well-being.
